Research Centers

KU’s 11 largest research centers are recognized as University Research Centers and report to the Office of Research. Their work aligns with local, national, and global needs and provides benefits to individuals, groups and the public good. These 11 centers provide an intellectual home for faculty and students pursuing research, teaching and community outreach on a broad range of topics.

Research Labs

KU’s core research labs support investigators and industry partners by providing assistance and training on specialized instrumentation, experimental design, and data analysis. These labs benefit university investigators and industry partners alike, with experienced professionals and state-of-the-art technology for continuous project support. Core lab research areas include a variety of research specialties, from animal care to mass spectrometry.
